Are you looking to do direct sales online or offline?

There are different strategies for both.

For offline, try joining some playgroups in your area and networking with other moms. Direct sales is a popular option for stay home moms, so Im sure you will find many other in the industry who can offer local tips.

There are also tons of offline advertising methods. And online groups, creation of a website, etc.

Does anyone know of a legit stay at home job that's not selling or Network Marketing? That also does not require a start up fee, but makes good extra money?

No, I don't know of anything that doesn't require selling, marketing, surveys, etc. After my 2nd son was born, I searched the internet, the newspaper, everything! For info on working from home. I checked out SO many website and businesses. Unfortunately, after a year of research, I didn't find one that I trusted enough to try.

However, I did start selling Mary Kay. I make a good profit on it and like the product myself-which makes a difference, not to mention now I get a big discount! It is easy to do and you receive a LOT of support from your team and from the company. You can do as little or as much as you want since there are no quotas. You don't have to do inventory. I looking at a home base business, or I should say two, one is Melaleuca and the other is Market America, My sister started one and a friend the other, I don't know if either work, they are excited now, but I don't want to waste time or money. They say you don't have to be able to sell or recurit people, how can that be?? If anyone can tell me about these companies and if they tried them before, I would be grateful. I just recently resigned from Melaleuca for several reasons. One is that it is very difficult to earn an income because they have changed the comp plan. Contrary to what they say, you DO have to recruit people if you plan on earning any money. And by recruiting, you are indeed selling. I found that everyone I knew ran in the other direction as soon as they heard Melaleuca. The problem is that they do indeed have some good products, but they went through hyper-growth a long time ago. They were big when the baby boomers had families at home and bought household products from their own store. Now the boomers are becoming empty nesters and no longer have the need to fill their houses with all the products and it is very difficult to find others to do that as well. What I'm saying is "That ship has sailed!"
I have found a product that is in demand by the boomers…they are looking for anti-aging, health and wealth. I KNOW that I have found the right product because I have been in Network Marketing for many years and this one is taking off! It is set for hyper-growth so the timing is now. I started earning an income my 2nd day and have continued earning each month. When people come to me and thank me for helping them, I know I am in the right business.
